A fan of films since he was a kid, Bo learned that he loved Podcasting not long before Covid, getting his start with RealSport 101 talking about Cricket and Rugby League, before joining the team at We Made This (now Film Stories). In 2025 he co-founded Punch & Pie Media.

Bo’s favourite film is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but his favourite cinema experience was watching the London Film Festival showing of Portrait of a Lady on Fire with a Q&A from the director and the 2 lead actors. Just try and shut him up about it, I dare you.

Bo is based in Brisbane, Australia.

A life-long film fan, Andy started his first, short-lived podcast in 2014 in a face-to-face capacity. A worldwide lockdown in 2020 gave him faith in the technology of remote recording and he and Sean started Frame to Frame. Shortly afterwards, they joined the team at We Made This (now Film Stories).

Andy holds a deep love of Stanley Kubrick films. He will use any opportunity to bring in a Kubrick notion or mention his (now 15-year-old) dissertation on Kubrick’s notion of Free Will. A lifelong memory will be attending Sundance London where he saw a little film called Fruitvale Station premiere and a Q&A from a Ryan Coogler (whatever happened to that guy?).

Andy is based in Wales, UK.

We think it’s fair to say Vi is the heart and soul of our project.

With vast experience in both the theatre and podcasting spaces; Violet’s influence on every project she touches is difficult to overstate.

Her love of Movies and Disney, and her myriad guest appearances on a lengthy list of shows, led her to become a co-host of 2 shows of her own; MovieVersaries right here on Punch & Pie Media, and Three Circles with Geoff Owen over at Film Stories.

Her kindness, intelligence and her obsession with note-taking makes every show she has featured on better, and we look forward to her returning from her forced hiatus in the near future.

Sean is a Bristol-based journalist, writer, author and podcaster with a specialism in cinema and soundtracks.

He also likes doing Michael Caine impressions!

He has been collaborating with BFF and long-suffering podcast co-host Andy Williams on and off since 2014, but the partnership really kicked off in 2020 when the first COVID lockdown prompted the creation of the Frame to Frame podcast, whereby they bolt two unlikely films together on a shared theme. Some 250 episodes and several notable guests later, Sean still hasn't got over the horror of Andy making him watch Joe's Apartment!

He has more than 15 years of experience in print and digital media, including the likes of Bristol's Watershed cinema, Curzon, Cineworld, Picturehouse Cinemas and the BBC.

He is also the author of The Sound of Cinema, an academic analysis of the history of soundtrack music from the silent era to the modern day, which encompasses interviews with leading soundtrack figures including Michael Giacchino, Terence Blanchard and Alexandre Desplat.
