Film Historian Dani Vilu guests on the latest episode of MovieVersaries to discuss the film regarded as Buster Keaton’s magnum opus.

The General is often regarded as Buster’s best film (even if Dani found support in MovieVersaries host Bo Nicholson when saying 1924’s Sherlock Jr. is the superior film), and its 100th anniversary is a time for celebration, as well as a stern re-evaluation as the politics of the film, with a Confederate hero, come under close scrutiny by both members of the panel.
