Episode 261 of Frame to Frame: The Evil Dead & The Babadook

If you’re still in the mood for some spooky delights after Halloween has finished, Andy and Sean have you covered!

A couple of cult classics are in the crosshairs of Andy Williams and the author of some kind of Necromancer Tome (apparently), Sean Wilson.

The Evil Dead is 45 years old this year and has spawned a stellar career for its director as well as a number of sequels and essentially spin-offs, but does the absurdist tone to the horror still hold up?

And then there’s The Babadook, the creepy film from Australian Legend Jennifer Kent which has gathered momentum as one of the great horror films of the 2010s.  Some might even say one of the best films without the horror qualifier!
